About Miss Fran

Miss Fran was born and raised in the farming community of Fowler, CA where she graduated from Fowler High School.  Her education continued at California State University of Fresno where she obtained her Masters in Communicative Disorders with regular and special education teaching credentials.

Miss Fran has a love for music.  She plays the piano, guitar and sings. 

She served as her church choir director for many years.

In 2021, she celebrated her 36th wedding anniversary with her college sweetheart.  Together they have three amazing children; a Kinesiology major with a career as a college soccer coach (taking a sabbatical to raise two extremely busy boys), a Doctor of Veterinarian, and an officer in the US Navy. 

Miss Fran started her career as a teacher of the hearing impaired for the Fresno County Office of Education for four years. After spending time raising her own children, she returned to work as a speech intervention teacher for Fowler Unified School District. She's loved working with students and parents in her hometown these past 14 years but is now tutoring online full-time so she can travel and spend time with her kids and grandkids.
